Kari-Tek offers a fitting service to install Kari-Tek Skeg Systems into your composite sea kayak. The retro fit service, by experienced fitters, is now available in two locations:

• Kari-Tek’s base in Ayrshire, Scotland, about an hour from the M74 motorway/Glasgow area.
• Kari-Tek’s Approved Fitter in Gwynedd, north Wales – about an hour and a quarter from the M6/Manchester area.

There are retro fit kits available for the Skeg Rudder System, Hydro Skeg®, Wire Skeg and Rope Skeg. Kits are priced from £109.20 for the rope and wire kits to £367.50 for the top of the range Skeg Rudder System. The fitting service costs £99.75.

For Ayrshire fittings, customers can borrow a replacement kayak for a couple of days while the work is being done*.
