The Isel (pronounced ee-sel) is Rockpool kayaks latest development. Rockpool customers love the performance of the Alaw and the Alaw Bach and the fabulous custom graphic design. Cockpit comfort and fit is also vital and an increasing number of smaller paddlers are looking for a cockpit volume to suit their physique.
And so the Isel was developed. Its hull has been developed from the Alaw’s to give a fast, high performance sea kayak. The difference lies in the cockpit fit.: the Isel is designed to give slighter-built paddlers greater comfort and a snugger fit in the cockpit. The cockpit has a lower volume, the thigh braces are lower and, as the deck is lower, there is less windage.
