Kari-Tek manufactures a range of high quality kayak cradles, open canoe brackets and webbing straps. There are kayak cradles designed for use with the Easy Load Roof Rack (ELRR) and a range of cradles to fit on to your vehicle’s roof bars. Available to buy online.

These kayak cradles and brackets fit directly to the Kari-Tek Easy Load Roof Rack.

J cradles for ELRR (ref: CRJE)

A pair of polypropylene J cradles for fitting to the ELRR. Includes fixings and 2 metre straps. Using ‘J’ cradles maximises the use of space on the roof rack as kayaks are carried on their sides.

Extended V cradles for ELRR (ref: CRVE)

A pair of polypropylene V cradles with an extended arm for supporting your boat when loading onto the lowered ELRR. Includes fixings and 2 metre straps. The kayak is carried flat on its hull.

Sit on top cradles for ELRR (ref: CRJAE)

A pair of polypropylene J cradles specifically designed to carry a sit on top kayak. Includes fixings and 2 metre straps. The kayak is carried on its side; the cradles come with aluminium supports which support the kayak when loading.

These kayak cradles require a fitting kit to attach to your own roof bars. The kit is included in the price.

Canoe, board and double kayak brackets

Kari-Tek's range includes options for carrying double kayaks, open canoes, surf boards and sit on top kayaks on our Easy Load Roof Rack. All are available to buy online.

Canoe and board brackets (ref. CCBR)

A set of 4 brackets used to secure a Canadian/open canoe to the ELRR. They have plastic protectors and include fixings and securing straps. The canoe is carried upside down on its gunwales. An extended version is available which can carry sit on top kayaks or surf boards, as well as canoes with a large tumblehome.

Made from aluminium with foam protection, these cradles are designed for the ELRR only and are complete with fixings and straps for securing the kayak.

Straps

Webbing Straps (ref: WS-2, WS-3 or WS-5)

Pairs of webbing straps are available in three lengths: 2m, 3m and 5m. The straps are fitted with an easy to use metal cam buckle to secure your canoe or kayak to roof bars or cradles.

NB. Kari-Tek cradles come complete with a pair of 2m webbing straps.

Portage Straps (ref: PS01)

A pair of carrying straps with soft padded handles, designed for four people to share the weight of carrying a fully laden kayak. Transforms the most dangerous part of expedition sea paddling!
